It has been a year since my visit to India. I was going through memorable photographs and wanted to celebrate the lives of rural women in India in my paintings. I have used sand from the Thar Desert in Rajasthan to complete this painting.
The rural Indian women are an epitome of strength, who work from dawn to dusk. I have nothing but ultimate respect for them.
