The sea has a strange presence, not to everyone’s liking, some find it too flat, with nothing in particular to look at, whilst others love it’s salty air and the feeling of being exposed to it’s vastness. Living in Brighton I’ve come to respect it’s ever shifting qualities. It stops us from venturing further, it allows us to open up, to think beyond ourselves, to dive in and lose our earthly selves.
