Beautiful painting of the sea . Waves are almost sculpted with pallette knife creting a 3 d effect . Very energetic painting . Modern take on a traditional subject , The sea looks very realistic , although the piece can also be seen as abstract . The right corner at the bottom of the painting has been dusted with bronze . This creates a shimmering effect ,reminiscent of the sun rays reflected on the sand .
