Artwork description:
First in a limited edition of 6 original woodcut prints on fine lightweight Japanese kozo paper, made from mulberry bark. The image was inspired by a holiday in Nice, France. The others in the edition have all sold.
This was printed by hand in the Japanese method, using a bamboo baren. As the paper is thin, it benefits from white or light coloured backing.
Materials used:
Water based inks, kozo paper, bamboo baren.
