By the scarlet tree,2016.
As in most of my artworks, in this watercolour I am deliberately avoiding adding depth and perspective to the landscape. I am searching for balance between colour and other visual elements, drawing attention to the surface of the paper, in order to reach the ideal, dynamic composition.
Watercolour is on a 300gsm, acid free, cold pressed, NOT, fine grain Daler Rownie aquarelle paper.
