On a humid summer´s afternoon in Zeeland, Netherlands, I set off in search of a suitable painting subject together with my sister – a watercolour artist, like myself (– it runs in the family!). We found this tranquil bend in a river and spent a lovely afternoon on its banks. However, the thundery heat was mounting and suddenly, out of the blue, large drops started to fall and we had to pack up quickly and head back to the car!

This unique artwork is sold mounted and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
