"By The Pool" The name of this painting is clearly inspired by a film I have seen not long ago "Under The Silver Lake". I have enjoyed the film a lot, Weird or UFO would be the best for describing the story, it is a mixture of crazyness and philosophical thinking with an abvious influence from the 90's :)

My work is as always about lights, mouvements, balance...the fragile visual equilibrium.
It seems the quest is getting deeper, more profound, more spiritual even if somehow the spiritual part has always been very alive in my life, but I make it more visible through my paintings, the way I work the lights, the colours. It's like I am in a stage of a deeper understanding of the Rothko vibrating colours.
This painting is named after one of my favourite painters still alive, Robert Stark, a painting to say thank you for his unconditional support towards my art.

If you buy more than one the same size, the shipping will apply only once,
usually if I can send all the works at once (maximum up to 3 in a same box for canvas and up to 5 or 6 for paper works) I make the reduction and I keep you inform, feel free to contact me if you need further informations or if you have any questions.
