Original artwork description:

This painting is one of a series I made after walking along the river Darent towards the Thames river near Dartford. The flat landscape of the Thames estuary is perfect for observing the sky and this was a day of all weathers with sun, rain and stormy clouds. I find it hard to resist a landscape on the edge of the rural and urban.
