This is a colourful landscape painting, with lots of blue and orange. Lively but intimate.
There is, in fact, no perspective, just an impression of passing by on an orchard road. The figuration is a little naive, as I like to do. This is the second painting I made recently of an orchard road. This time I chose the night, with a bright full moon to lighten up the scenery. The first one was with a setting sun in warm colours, called "Orchard road".
The title is from a song by Van Morrison. (All the titles of my paintings are parts of song lyrics). The sides of the canvas are painted as well. Ships in a box-frame, ready to hang.
