By The Harbour is a mixed media painting on a sturdy wooden artist panel. 44cm x 44cm (including the frame). Much of my work is based on emotions and how I see and interpret the world around me. I have explored this through installations and digital art but my real passion is manipulating paint. It has such a visceral nature, that the action of putting paint down and manipulating it on a surface, becomes both cathartic and exciting in equal measures. By The Harbour is an intuitive abstract painting based on the colours, structure and forms of an imaginary harbour.
All my paintings are sealed and finished in satin UV varnish. The frame is a wooden St Ives Style with fixings attached, ready to hang.
