I'm often inspired by the wildlife in my local area. This butterfly was spotted in Holt, Norfolk, in August. The delicate Brimstone butterfly almost glows in the sunshine. It has pale green leaf-shaped wings so it's easy to miss when resting with its wings closed. This is an original and unique painting on watercolour paper, signed on the front. I use archival watercolour paints and thick archival 300gms paper.
This painting is not supplied framed, but the 7 x 10inch size will fit easily into a frame of your choice.
