Beautiful Butterfly Beach in the chic and laid-back village of Montecito is a popular beach with Santa Barbara area locals.
There are several versions of why it is so named. Some claim that it is because a bike path bordered by flowers attracts a wide variety of butterflies occasionally. It may also be because the beach itself is in the shape of a butterfly. Either way, it is very beautiful!

This is a 5"x7" gouache painting on a Fabriano 140 lbs extra white 100% cotton cold pressed watercolor paper. It comes in 8"x10" mount/mat and is ready for framing. Visual art area is 6 5/8 x 4 5/8. Fits in any standard 8"x10" frame. Frame is NOT included (pictured framed for presentation only).
