Original artwork description:
During late May and early June the Yorkshire Dales are covered in buttercups. They fill the meadows of Swaledale and Wensleydale. One of our favourite walks goes from Muker to Keld. It passes the Swaledale valley past the remains of Crackpot Hall. Earlier in the year there are patches of blue on the slopes - bluebells.
This painting aims to capture the wonderful colours in the landscape on a bright early Summers day.
The painting is impressionist in style featuring broad brushstrokes to create texture on the ground. A small flock of Swaledale sheep graze in the distance.
The painting is supplied in a white mount and will fit a frame size 50cm x 50cm.
I will ship this painting anywhere in the world for free.
In the UK it will be supplied with the mount. Outside of the UK I will roll the painting in a tube for safer transit. (no mount.)
