Original artwork description:

It's mid May in the UK and buttercups are springing up everywhere. We are lucky enough to live next to the largest wildflower meadow in the UK - Portholme. It bursts into life around this time every year and is a joy to behold.
The painting tries to capture the rich colours of the buttercups dotted through with the odd purple clover. Grasses swaying in the wind against a moody sky and a dark tree line on the horizon.
The painting is supplied in a white cream mount.
