Burnished Bolets - Original Watercolour Painting

Size - 20cm wide by 16cm high - on thick 100% cotton and linen Two Rivers paper. This paper accentuates the watercolour brushstrokes and is handmade 1 sheet at a time in an old country mill in Watchet, Somerset.

For the lover of forest fungi this glowing study details the pores that sit under the cap and the rubbery quality of the stalks!

Using almost exclusively hues of yellow and gold I strove to express the mushroom's smooth and curvy shapes with their preternatural aura.

I will pack your original daffodil watercolour totally rigidly so that it does not get damaged in transit.
