Nelson’s father was the Rector of this 13th Century Church in Burnham Thorpe, All Saints, which is the subject of this Norfolk landscape. Horation Nelson was baptised in the Church and occasionally lived in the village in the late 1700s.
Painted in watercolour on Arches 300gsm watercolour paper this original watercolour was painted from photos taken at the scene during a painting workshop with Herman Pekel in 2018.
