Burnham Thorpe, near Burnham Market in Norfolk is a very pretty part of that area of Norfolk and famous as being the birth place of Admiral Lord Nelson.
Nelson’s father was the Rector of this 13th Century Church in Burnham Thorpe, All Saints, which is the subject of this Norfolk landscape. Horation Nelson was baptised in the Church and occasionally lived in the village in the late 1700s.
Painted in watercolour on Arches 300gsm watercolour paper this original watercolour was painted from photos taken at the scene during a painting workshop with Herman Pekel in 2018.
The watercolour will be shipped ,with a Certificate of Authenticity in a cardboard tube. It is unmounted and unframed
