Original artwork description:

Depiction of the South Downs at Buriton Common, Hampshire.

Created using palette knife and brush with reflective paints to capture the light. Deep box canvas painted black on the sides creating an effective visual frame so you may choose not to frame but I believe would benefit from a plain white frame.

Buriton is home to the great Hampshire pub the Five Bells, which has outstanding beer and food and the advantage of an attached art gallery 'Art in the morgue ' ( goes back to the time when the village had a quarry and lots of accidents I believe!) where several of my paintings are normally exhibited.

The painting is supplied with a certificate of authenticity and is corded ready to hang.
