'Buried Treasure' is made from pieces of antique pottery that I dug up in my garden.
In the olden days here in Cornwall, people that lived out in the country buried their
'rubbish' somewhere on their land, usually at the bottom of the garden. I have dug up many pieces of victorian and older pottery and bottles, they are far too beautiful not to make an artwork from, and the saying 'One man's junk is another man's treasure' is brought into play!. There are pieces of Cornish Blue Pottery incorporated in this artwork.
