“Buried Thoughts” represents the erosion of time and the transience of life. The function of a bust statue is to immortalize a human figure. By presenting a bust that's broken and melting, this surreal image brings that attempt into question. Embedded in the bust's pedestal of earth are two crows, half-buried -- a dreamy symbol of mortality.
