Burgundy – 16-02-20 (sold)
And so it came to be, that I was attending to a wine tasting, organized by Jan-Wieger Eikema of the Bourgognespecialist (Burgundy specialist). I was struck by the back lighting and thought it would be great to do an impressionist drawing once more, next to my cubist and roundistic art works. I decided to keep a rough edge rather that to fine detail too much. I liked the light reflections in the wine glasses, erazing them with just some little strokes, creating a maximum effect.
Graphite pencil drawing (Pentel 0.5 mm, 3B) on Canson Bristol paper (21 x 14.8 x 0.1 cm – A5 format)
Artist: Corné Akkers
