Original artwork description:

Burgers. Love them or hate them they're the ultimate symbol of fast food culture and it feels like they're enjoying something of a renaissance here in London. So it was only natural that the latest in my pop art food series was a delicious looking hamburger.

As is my style the elements of the food are shown suspended against a sky blue background and painted in bright colours with black outlines around them, creating a bright graphic 'pop' style image. There's bacon, lettuce, ketchup, processed cheese, and a tomato slice on this burger. I know you wouldn't necessarily order the ingredients in this order but after testing, the colours looked best this way!

PLEASE NOTE: the painting doesn't come framed, but I've taken photos of it in a black A4 frame for display purposes. So the third image better shows what you'd be getting.

It is painted in acrylics and Posca paint pens on thick A4 acrylic paper and signed on the back for authentication
Size -
8.3 inches x 11.7 inches
21 cm x 29 cm

I've been inspired to create work like this by classic pop artists like Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and Patrick Caulfield.
