This is my depiction of Burano Island, Venice which presents a new painting at every turn with its brightly painted buildings. This qualifies as one of my 'powerful places' series of paintings.

Created with palette knife and brush on a deep box canvas and incorporating subtle use of reflective paint to bring the painting to life under different light conditions.

Painted black on the sides so could be hung as is. So that I am completely honest with you, it has a slightly bowed top frame but the canvas is stretched fine ( I must of bought it like this) so you may prefer to frame. This is reflected in the price I hope.

Corded and ready to hang. Initialled on the front and signed on the back.
