Artwork description:

This image is created from original photographs taken in Ramsgate along the Kent Coast in England. It has been created by layering and juxtaposing up to 20 different photographs to create an entirely new scene, which captures a sense of the coastline but leaves room for your own imagination.

There is something lovely about walking out on these solid harbour walls in Ramsgate into the Sea. Fishing is a big part of harbour life in Ramsgate and I loved the way the fishing ephemera, hoses and ropes are left lying around. I wanted to make them integral to the environment in the image.
