I love the colours of autumn, especially in September. It's still warm, there's still a lot of sun, but it's not hot anymore.
In the fall, a variety of fruits appear in our dining room. Most often, these are watermelon and melon. But, as a rule, I do not have time to write them. These large berries disappear very quickly in our stomachs.
But grapes can wait for a little, like pomegranates.
I inadvertently placed this bunch of grapes on the edge of the table. I wanted to adjust the plate so that it would not fall. But then the bright sun peeped in through the window. It lit up the grapes. It was so beautiful! I sketched what I had until the sun disappeared behind a cloud again.
The rest is from memory and a photo. It's good that I managed to photograph.

I chose a small size for the still lifes of this fall series. Small paintings in the same range go well with each other. It is convenient to make compositions of them on walls, shelves.
I have had small pictures on a similar scale before.
