Original artwork description:

Bumblebee amongst forsythia
I sat down to paint a quick study of a little twig of forsythia that I picked from the garden. Before I knew it a bumble bee insisted on appearing amongst the flowers. The painting grew and grew till a square format looked rather pleasing :-)
There are some colour studies on the reverse of this painting but it does not affect the viewing of this artwork.

St Cuthbert's Mill paper 300gsm, Daniel Smith artist quality watercolour paint
