Original artwork description:

Bucolic Beginnings is inspired by the City of Rocks, a real place in the southern Idaho wilderness (Not a city!), and influenced by my son, David, an avid rock climber leading a life of adventure. David's love of this "city" encouraged me to visit this amazing locale. Photos didn't capture the mystery and uniqueness of site. It needed to be painted! And interpreted through the view of an adventurer who would want to live here. So the cabin came to be. This is a real cabin; it just happens to be located several miles away from City of Rocks. I can see my son living in a place like this, however. The Rocks are one "city" where he'd be right at home.
