A beautiful painting on a natural canvas panel which has been left bare in places to give an extra dimension and texture. A serene portrait of a resting woman, with eyes peacefully closed. White ink and a calligraphy nib has been used to create the frizzy hair, adding to the textured effect. The bubbles of colour add flashes of bright energy to the neutral canvas, suggesting a dreamlike quality. Created using a very fine brush to achieve the detailing and shadows.

Framed in a 48mm stylish cream rope frame made from solid wood with a light brushed gold finish.
Crystal clear 2mm acrylic glazing.
Shatter proof and 20% clearer than glass.

The painting is signed on the front and comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity attached to the back of the frame. The frame is complete with an acid free double mount and backing board, which protects the artwork.
