Artwork description:

Taken on a visit to Rabida Islands in the Galapagos islands. The red island: Result of the oxidation on the moment of its formation this island offers red landscapes with small craters, cliffs and a red beach. Here, hundreds of sea lions formed a settlement together with a nesting colony of pelicans. Flamingos in the back inhabit a small salty lagoon.
The Pelican is quite at home amongst the red Oxidation which forms a dramatic backdrop to the subject.

It is an unpopulated island.
