I am fascinated by bridges and buildings in famous cities and Brooklyn Bridge Manhattan was no exception. I particularly liked the way Manhattan skyline was in the background and the sunset casting it's yellow and orange glow behind the buildings and reflecting in the river. This is a vibrant oil painting capturing the heat of the city. The colours of the reflections are a mix of purples and oranges making a wonderful statement. It is a very large painting painted on a deep edge canvas in oils and an under painting in acrylic and is strung ready to hang.
