Artwork description:

Limited edition #5 of 20

Each sculpture has a 'Certificate of Authenticity' signed and numbered by the artist supplied with the artwork. The edition number is also applied to the sculpture by hand.
This small, delicate statue of a goddess was made first in clay and then with a mold I create up to 20 pieces.
For this one I achieved a bronze finish using a reactive leaf bronze varnish.
Afterwards the bronze pigment has been chemically oxidized to obtain an aged dark patina in the recesses.
A final coat of a varnish for metals protects the piece from further oxidation.
The result looks and feels like a cast bronze sculpture, at a more affordable cost.
Different finishes ( marble powder, copper etc. ), are available by commission.
