This is the first painting of my newest 3pc project called The Trinity Series. All the paintings of this first series are called. "BROKEN ... yet Healing ...Because I am Saved... by HIM!". It is inspired by the Bible Verse, Jeremiah 17:14. Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise. This artwork is designated as Series 1 - Version #1.

My hopes are that the paintings of this series show a person who has overcome great struggles in their life and found Peace in being saved by Jesus Christ. Their struggles are NOT over but now they are never alone in their battles. I was surprised when I made a mistake and the subject of this painting turned into the subject matter of an old man and his dog. That hit home for me personally. When Mom passed my Dad was devastated, but the love of their devoted dog kept Dad with us for several more years. This artwork is a 20 x 10 canvas painted on the sides so it can be hung unframed. ALL
