'Broken' is from my project ‘Views From The Street’. I use hundreds of my own photographs of stickers, tags, graffiti and any other type of message that I find on the streets to create artwork that provides a snapshot of what is being talked about and the views from the streets of different cities. It's from my archive of photos from Chiang Mai in Thailand that I have selected 121 with which to create this artwork. I then create the design digitally, giving each photograph's edges a more hand painted feel using my digital pen as a paintbrush.
The final design is printed onto Hahnemühle Photo Matt Fibre 200 gsm fine art paper with Epson UltraChrome Pro pigment inks, for longevity. There is a white border for easy handling.
It is signed and numbered on the front as well as coming with a certificate of authenticity. It is protected and bubble wrapped before being rolled in a cardboard postage tube.
This design is also available at the much larger size of 100x100cm (85x85cm printed) in a very limited edition of only 5. cost 395€
Please get in touch if you are interested in a different size or surface or if you'd like to commission me to create a 3D version of this piece.
