Original artwork description:

This is the complete drawing of the entire view from the apartment we stayed in next to Brixton Village, London. I usually do smaller scale pieces and originally wanted to focus on a few areas of this scene, but the more I looked at it I realised that I wanted to do it all! I was very interested by the architectural history in this view from the multiple different level train tracks cutting through it to the older buildings that are either being lived in or still used for business. There are only a few newer buildings in this view and so it still has an older Brixton feeing to it.

Materials used:

Oil Pastel on 160gsm Black Paper
