Original artwork description:

Briscola is the name I chose as the title of this portrait and it is the name of a very famous card game I played with as a child with my grandfather.

I found a photo of a BULLDOG puppy on the internet and immediately started portraying it.

I first prepared the background, leaving a layer of plaster and glue on the edges to give dynamism with the material effect, then I started with oil colors.

At that time I only used an oil color to give importance to the graphic sign and because the elegance of Cassel's Terra color excited me so much.

The eyes are very defined and expressive and I wanted the dog to look directly at the viewer.

When I look at this work, I enjoy imagining the dog's noisy breathing and I always smile!

I made the work with the oil color technique on board, I use oil color overlay many very thin layers of suitably diluted color to create the effects I want.

The work is signed on the back and will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity

for non-EU shipments, it is necessary to wait for authorization from the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and this could lead to a delay of a few days
