My painting Bring us peace was born in 2023, in Ukraine, during difficult times. I depicted two doves in flight, intertwined in a motion symbolizing a mutual longing for peace. I painted each feather on their wings with vibrant strokes to convey not only purity and innocence but also the wealth of emotions and hopes that are invested in the idea of peace.

The gray background contrasts with the colorful birds, emphasizing that despite the gloom of the present, peace and light are still possible. The doves reach out to each other as a symbol of unity, understanding, and love that can overcome all obstacles. This work is my response to the times of war and a call for calm and harmony for the entire world.
