Abstracted impressionist landscape painting. This painting was inspired by the huge skies and distant horizons of Exmoor National Park. I wanted to capture the experience of looking out over the moor, exposed to the elements and enjoying the sense of space and freedom. Painted in oil, largely with a palette knife, this piece is full of glorious colours and textures.
