Painted on-site in a home garden in Milwaukee, WI. Features a peony flower in bright magenta-pink. The flower is accented by delicate green foliage and a background in variegated shades of light blue, ultramarine blue, and yellow-green. The background is created with drips and splashes of water-based casein paint, and glazed over with oil. The flower is painted with both brush and palette knife, and the shapes of the petals are enhanced by the thick texture of the paint.
Framed in a 3.5" wide wood frame with a black finish and an antique gold inner edge. May be purchased unframed by request.
