Artwork description:
Brighton Pier is one of an ongoing series of original prints based around coastlines from around the south coast of England.
The prints comes mounted in an museum quality mount and backboard ready to fit into a standard 12 x 16" frame.
A monoprint is printed onto handmade lokta paper using archival inks. The pier detail is then overprinted by hand using a miniature silkscreen printing frame called a ‘gocco’. The finished print is mounted on somerset cotton rag paper.
Due to the nature of the process there may be slight variations between prints within the edition. As with all works of art, care should be taken to display away from direct sunlight and excess humidity.
