Original artwork description:

A very misty day looking west towards Hove. The stormy scudding clouds almost seemed to grow out from the grey sea, the only highlights on the clouds edges and the surf as it crashed against the pebbles reflecting the sun that was threatening to come out. I painted the buildings as quite impressionistic as they were faded in the mist.
