Original artwork description:

This watercolor is made of my thoughts and impressions brought from the trip to Izu, Japan.
I was walking along the narrow streets in dazzling winter light, the sky was so blue, the wind was very strong.
The contrast between the wood and blue of the sky was beautiful, with lots of greenery that framed the architecture so well.

I wanted to create more depth in this watercolor using strong shadows and also add emotions with the strokes and additional washes.
