Original artwork description:
This seems like the iconic Maine image - dark trees, bright waters and a colorful meadow. This is painted from photograph references and sketches I did while hiking at the Audubon Preserve in Bremen, Maine. We saw lots of birds that day - a bald eagle and there is an osprey nest of top of one of the buildings. It is a place of such peace and beauty.
This is painting on a gallery wrapped canvas, with 1 1/2" deep stretchers. I will paint the edges and put a wire on the back. So when I ship it, it will be ready to hang!
