As the sun sets, rush hour comes alive in the Financial District of San Francisco, California.

I am hypnotized by the dynamic ebb and flow of life during this magic hour. The crushing together of old and new buildings. Rhythmic bursts of noise and silence. The heartbeat of motion. Throbbing flashes from rushing cars, naked windows, street lights, neon signs, and millions of reflections. This transition from day into night feels hyper-energized and filled with excitement.

My Artistic Inspiration…
I’m a cityscape oil painter passionate about intense color and deep contrast. My inspirations are the fluid light, dramatic vistas, quiet neighborhoods and stark landscapes of California and the Southwest. I paint with a vibrant palette and expressive brushstrokes to share my vision of an essence of the urban experience. I hope that the viewer will be inspired to see the world around them in a new light.
