Just off the main street in Brienz is this street straight off the lid of a Swiss chocolate box. Quite stunning and unmistakably Swiss, though it should be said streets like this are certainly not commonplace these days. The strange little animals on the sides of the road are for sale and intended for putting plants in. The shop selling them is just out of sight to the left of the picture. The one half way up the hill is not for sale it has been planted by the resident of the house there.
