An imaginative painting in the 'Breathe' series inspired by my love for trees and concern for our fragile planet. Helped by a song lyric to 'Breathe' by Midge Ure which triggered the title as well as the idea for a series based on trees being the lungs of the planet. The song itself was written in an entirely different context but nevertheless opened the creative doorway.
