I love to portray everyday life in my art. During a trip to Udaipur, a very popular tourist destination in India, I was just wandering in the streets early morning looking for subjects when I noticed this old man sitting in the warmth of the winter sun reading his newspaper. I loved his intent gaze on the newspaper and have tried to capture that expression in my painting.
An original watercolour, created on 270 gsm Indian handmade paper using artist-grade watercolour paints. Signed and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
