I created this pastel painting from sketches I had made the previous day on a windy ridge above Llangollen.
The paper is 30 x 34 cm pale grey Clairefontaine Ingres paper, 130 g/m2. I have fixed the completed and signed work with Daler Rowney Perfix. On my screen, the sky looks too blue: it is grey and blue in reality.
