The boys wandered deep in the cave, below the earth's surface, and they feared not. It was an exciting venture, until the passageway unexpectedly filled with water behind them. The twelve boys waited for 9 days before being found. They remained deep in the cave, and were eventually and painstakingly removed, one by one, to the safety of the surface. Mother Nature is a force to be respected.
