Original artwork description:

Since the river Mosel and its villages are located not far from my home in South West Germany, they are a frequent subject for my paintings. This is a plein air work, created on a trip to the picturesque village of Brauneberg along with my fellow watercolour artists – my sister and my father. I chose to paint this little lane with the typical timber-frame houses and the vines growing across overhead. The figure coming along the land actually did come by and have a look at my painting and talk to me so I decided to include him in the scene.
I usually paint outdoors alone, enjoying the solitude in nature but the great thing about painting with fellow artists is that we mutually inspire each other and all have a great day doing what we love. And, of course, at the Mosel, we usually finish up going somewhere for a bite to eat and trying some of the local produce from the vineyards!
Brauneberg Mosel is one of a series of paintings in my “vineyard” collection.

This unique artwork is sold mounted and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
