The Brainwash is about the information we are exposed to which creates a collective awareness. Knowledge comes from within and in society, it is imposed by a series of behaviours which are accepted by a certain population, that behaviours create the norm and the norm changes from Nation to Nation, place to place. The paintings show a cloud/brain, dripping drops of knowledge or information which colour the empty minds of the heads below. This work is about mind manipulation of society towards the citizen. This work will come rolled in a tube and it will need to be professionally stretched or framed as you most prefer. This work is made in Matlakas' unique style.
