Original artwork description:

A view looking into the distance whilst standing on Braes beach on the isle of Skye.
This painting was done from a memory I have of standing on the sand and looking out to sea from Braes beach on Skye.
Its purposefully quite a minimal painting where I have tried to capture distance and space by creating a high horizon and with texture in the foreground for the beach.
It is a style I enjoy painting in and I think I will attempt more of this kind in the near future.

Materials used:

Acrylic paint with some texture medium
